Vulnerable marine benthic animals - observational data Cauliflower coral forest

Drifa is soft with polyps that sit in small heads and thus resemble cauliflower. It lives where there is currents and good food supply. In Norwegian fjords, they are found in relatively shallow water, but can be found down to 1500 meters deep.

The coral is found in the North Atlantic, including around Greenland, Svalbard and in the Barents Sea - along the Norwegian coast from western Norway to Finnmark.
