Satellite data - Sentinel-2 - Cloudless mosaic WMS
Annual cloudless satellite data mosaic composed of Sentinel-2 imagery. The mosaic was generated using the following method: (1) Download Sentinel-2 L1C data. (2) Produce L2A data (atmospheric correction and cloud detection) using the MAJA processor (CESBIO/CNES), performed by the Norwegian Mapping Authority. (3) Generate L3 data (monthly syntheses) using the WASP processor (CESBIO/CNES), also performed by the Norwegian Mapping Authority. WASP is configured to use all MAJA-processed scenes from the period of June 1 to August 31. The final product has a pixel date centered around August 1.

The cloudless satellite mosaic is used to show a seamless homogeneously background map. The satellite mosaic is well suited for map control, analyses and as reference information in geographic information systems (GIS) and as data basis for online map solutions.
